A Thread of Kashmiri Tradition
For generations, saffron has been the crown of Kashmiri kitchens — stirred into kahwa on cold evenings, folded into festive rice and wazwan, and warmed in milk. Each deep-red thread carries the colour, warmth and fragrance that make it one of the world's most treasured spices.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this pure Kashmiri Mongra saffron?
Yes — these are pure, hand-selected Mongra (cut filamentous) saffron threads, sourced from Pampore in Kashmir and freshness-sealed for aroma and colour.
What does "ISO 3632 Grade 1" mean?
ISO 3632 is the international standard that grades saffron by colour (crocin), flavour (picrocrocin) and aroma (safranal). A representative sample of our saffron was tested at a NABL-accredited laboratory and met the Grade 1 (highest grade) requirements. The result relates to the tested sample.
How much saffron should I use?
A little goes a long way — 4–5 threads soaked in warm milk or water is enough for most dishes and drinks. Steeping first releases the fullest colour and aroma.
How should I store it?
Keep the threads in an airtight container away from light, heat and moisture to preserve their colour and fragrance.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk saffron?
